The HCTF Education’s WILD Schools program is a free, whole-school, multi- year initiative for K-8 schools to support outdoor and place-based learning. Schools are assigned a WildBC Facilitator who will work with your school to provide professional development, resources, support, and ideas. The program is flexible and offers a wide range of opportunities to support environmental teaching and learning, outdoor experiences with nature and conservation connections and engagement within your local community.
How to Apply:

Be a K-8 school in BC.

Dedicate some pro-d time toward your WILD Schools pro-d session(s).

Select a theme based to start with based one of our resources:

Ecosystems (Project WILD& Growing Up WILD)

Water and Watersheds (Project WET & Getting Little Feet WET)

Forests (Project Learning Tree PreK-8 Environmental Education & PLT Earl Years)

Apply by May 1st.
