Thinking about taking up fishing? Why not check out one of the amazing BC Family Fishing Weekend events being hosted by @gofishbc and their partners! Over the weekend (June 19-21), BC waives the requirement for residents of Canada to buy or carry a non-tidal (freshwater) basic fishing licence, giving people the opportunity to try fishing before jumping in the deep end! In addition to waiving this requirement for the weekend. There are tons of events going on across the province to help introduce residents to angling.
